Fishing is Finally getting hot

Posted Jul 18th, 2014 in The Fishing Report

Fishing is Finally getting hot Fishing on Lake Ontario has been the toughest fishing I have seen since starting to troll on Lake Ontario 20 years ago while still managing to catch Lake trout, coho and big steelhead the chinook have been elusive... Finally the fishing is getting back to normal kind of ...
After the coldest winter in a Long long time Lake Ontario is still very cold overall with surface temps between 50 and 65 degrees.. Suffix performance leadcore with 5 colours on a rsc2 30 size real has been the best performer out here because of the cold temperature the fish seem to be closer to the surface... Paired with matrix bpo spoon and wild hawg  spoon they have produced monster steelhead and Coho fishing in 280' of Water.

  • I just wanted to tell how much we enjoyed fishing with you. We caught 5 King Salmon, 1 Koho Salmon and 1 Rainbow Trout today. Among them, the biggest one was 42", 28 pd King Salmon. It took almost 30 minutes to bring him up. We appreciate your professional guidance, and knowledge. We will definitely come back!! It was a great day!!
